In the world you are entering, there is a Federation. There is an Enterprise. There is even a Captain Kirk.
But in this world, they are not as you know them.
George Lowther, 27, is the captain of the pirate ship known throughout the galaxy as the Enterprise. Of course, he's not the real George Lowther, and neither was the man before him, a fellow called Chris Pike. They're in the process of trading the identity, so Pike can retire, having made his fortune. The new Lowther, real name James T. Kirk, has hired on a crew, and they're off on their first voyage, affiliated with the Federation of Interstellar Pirates.
So. How's the crew doing? And, of course, who's fucking?

It is a Vulcan endearment. The closest translation in Standard is darling or dearest.

Tell me a story, Kotyonok. About Vulcan.

What kind of story would you like to hear?

About you as a young boy, growing up.

I do not have any stories of particular interest. Vulcan children do not play as human children do. Most of my childhood was spent in studying and training for my eventual Kolinahr.

THe Fleet did not let us play much, either. Did you never have friends, or fun?

My father's work required us to travel much. Those Vulcan children that I did encounter were unforthcoming with friendship. They did not wish to associate with me because of my human mother. In fact I once fought several of them because they insulted her.

You are a very bad girl, but I think you were having a little too much fun. And we can't keep the captain down here all day now can we? You'll have to wait.
