startrek_diaryOnce again, our intrepid captain is leading an away team down to a planet for a first contact mission.
The planet, let's call it Circe, has several unexplained phenomena associated with it: people sometimes change. They might lose their gender, they might change species, they might swap brains, they might grow or shrink... no one knows why or how. The locals think it is their goddess blessing those she chooses to bless. Spock could probably figure it out, but I have a bad feeling about his chances down there.
So when Kirk, McCoy, Spock, Sulu, Giotto, Kyle, Ricky and Uhura go to the planet, their friends and respective lovers are all worried about them.
What do you think they're saying? And what do you think is actually happening down there?
Mod note: I want to remind people that every game has it's own continuity. The only canon we have at the start of a game is the series/movie (which we do love to mix and match) and what we build as we go. In other words, I know some of you are K/S shippers or Chekov/McCoy or WHATEVER. CARPE AFFINITAS! Seize the 'Ship!

I hate you for leaving me up here. I have not hated you much in a long time. It is like a fire in my stomach and I cannot concentrate on this course plotting because I hate you so much for always being in such danger and making me feel like a woman for wanting you back.
Instead I will go drink with Mr. Scott and then maybe do some navigation later. While drunk. And fly us into a star.
And it will be YOUR FAULT Hikaru Sulu. You will have to go to Captain Kirk and explain why his ship is stuck halfway through Nova 234-T.

Lads (and lasses), it's no good. I can't get sensors up. (If you know what I mean.) We're still blocked with the communications as well. I'm thinking of giving up this starship lark and going mad to old fashioned smoke signals.
I mean, I love the girl, but she's hardly making this easy on us. Anyone who wants to take a break go do so before I notice, 'cause in three hours I'll still be here trying to recalibrate the manifolds.

Aye, lass I'd like that. But I can't abandon my post because of illicit fumblings (though, I'm betting they'll be fine illicit fumblings).
Remember, thanks to Kirk's genius in taking McCoy and Spock down, I'm now the highest ranking officer. And I'd rather hide out in the jefferies tubes (DOING WORK before you try and distract me) than signing those forms everyone seems to be thrusting at the Cap'n like Sulu after a couple shots of that pink stuff we've got behind the bar.
If I'd wanted to be a Captain, I wouldnae be dressed in red.

No kidding si.. ma... CAPTAIN. I must've lost at least a foot and my weight's all wrong for this sword. I feel so frail. How do we reverse this?
My hair keeps getting in my eyes and my clothes don't fit an dall my equipment feels heavy and you know what else? I work next to a 17 year old who's forgotten more about physics than I'll ever know. My Captain used to be in the year below me at the Academy. Mom was right, I'm just not working hard enough, and now I'm gonna have to deal with the sexism and those goddamn uniforms...
We need to fix this. Now.
