Side Game: Dystopia

In the world you are entering, there is a Federation. There is an Enterprise. There is even a Captain Kirk.

But in this world, they are not as you know them.

George Lowther, 27, is the captain of the pirate ship known throughout the galaxy as the Enterprise. Of course, he's not the real George Lowther, and neither was the man before him, a fellow called Chris Pike. They're in the process of trading the identity, so Pike can retire, having made his fortune. The new Lowther, real name James T. Kirk, has hired on a crew, and they're off on their first voyage, affiliated with the Federation of Interstellar Pirates.

So. How's the crew doing? And, of course, who's fucking?

Okay, let me know if you change your mind.

By the way, I hear McCoy is having some issues with his files and inventory. Wanna be a magician down there when you're done?

Well stage 1 of the plan has me drifting through open space for the next few weeks. It's your own fault.

Also I'm pretty sure my entire crew is all fucking each other and I'm not sure when that happened.

*his "entire crew" is comprised of three people. Not a far stretch.

Sure. Don't get your hopes up.

Why not? Fixing other people's mistakes is my favorite past time.

You're probably right.

I did but you can consider it rhetorical since I got a head nurse who's just about begging me for it and that tells me plenty.

Never would.

Be sure to tell the doctor that, loudly and with great vigor.

I'll talk to her.

Stop bothering the doctor. My quarters, 15 minutes.

No it's yours for not being able to entertain yourself, you could do something else too you know. You just have to start the buzz of search, takes barely anything to do that.

Considering who your crew is I'm not sure how this surprised you.

Sure you will.

I am entertaining myself.

I didn't say it surprised me, I said I'm not sure when it happened. Last I checked they were doing the dance of a thousand flirtations.

Won't be if I block your comms.

When you weren't looking apparently.

I am.

Nurse, I think you should come to my office, I'd like to take you up on that offer.

What? Where did you get that from? Look, you said that I was wearing your mark and you weren't wearing mine and I should change that. If I take this thing off you'll pout and cry and whine for days so it's easier to just give you something of mine to make it even.

As long as you know, I suppose.

Of course, it begs the question of who was watching my ship while they were all fucking each other. I should yell at them.

I know everything.

Probably. Not that your little dinghy is actually in danger of anyone stealing it.
