I'm sometimes pretty sure I suck at modding here, but then I just stop playing for a day and realize that this is the easiest comm to mod EVER.

HOW TO MOD STD:
1. Start an HSAU.
2. Three weeks later, start a side game.
3. Start a new HSAU.
4. Sit back, have a daiquiri and watch the comm take care of itself.

Well, there was the mpreg thing, which I'm still bitter about (MY KINKS ARE NOT WRONG, DAMMIT), and the Torchwood thing, and I don't think you actually stepped into the debate about whether I was allowed to move Wales. But I often find that I express opinions that are VERY UNPOPULAR and then must concede lest I rock the boat. :(

So are we asking about characters we usually play, or any character we like? Can we ask for pairings (since you can't have Chekov without Sulu and vice versa), or specific prompts (because I kinda want someone to draw Gary and Vincent playing Pokemon together)?

And what about anons? Nyotaanon and Miaanon, will they be able to ask without deanoning? Because I know for a fact that Miaanon doesn't have an account, and I think Nyotaanon said she doesn't either.

Yeah, I'm suddenly having trouble keeping track of our anons now that we have TWO OF THEM OMG (even though Miaanon 1) goes to my school, 2) lives in my town, and 3) spends more time at my house than strictly necessary. YOU'D THINK I'D BE ABLE TO KEEP THEM SEPERATE IN MY HEAD.

I've done things like this before in other comms, and it generally goes like this:

1. Make a comment to a post (screened) with something to call you/a name, a way to contact you, and your wants.
2. I take out my handy random number generator and get everyone paired up.
3. They turn it in to me (email, a post with screened comments, whatevs) by a certain time.
4. I make a post of "HAY LOOKIT WHAT YOU GOTS~!"

Then no one needs an account, just a way for me to contact them to give them their assignment.

Your questions:
-Any charter you like. Specify if you want reboot, TOS, or HSAU
-Yes, but if someone doesn't ask for one (IE - "I want Chekov running!) then no other character should be shipped with them- not EVERYONE agrees with you, Bubbles. :p
-Requests are okay, but some people (ie, me) will write rather than draw, and they might want to write a story about playing Pokemon rather than draw it because not everyone likes stick figures.

Yeah, something like that. I haven't actually got my mind together on it yet, but the general idea would be that one STDer would make something for another, based around a character of the latter's choosing. I need to suss it out a bit, but I like the concept.
