Ahahahah, was skimming IMDB.  I went to look at Karl Urban's page.  Apparently one of his early roles was as Jamie Forrest, a gay paramedic on the NZ soap opera Shortland Street.  Forrest was the first openly gay character on the show.  The character was eventually written out of the script after a split with Jamie Forrest's younger boyfriend, Jonathan McKenna.

He is definitely someone who grew into his looks. He's SO "pretty boy" in his early years. Not at all attractive to me (and it's not just that..er.. wonderful *cough* shirt) But NOW?! GUH Karl *PURR*
