In the world you are entering, there is a Federation. There is an Enterprise. There is even a Captain Kirk.

But in this world, they are not as you know them.

George Lowther, 27, is the captain of the pirate ship known throughout the galaxy as the Enterprise. Of course, he's not the real George Lowther, and neither was the man before him, a fellow called Chris Pike. They're in the process of trading the identity, so Pike can retire, having made his fortune. The new Lowther, real name James T. Kirk, has hired on a crew, and they're off on their first voyage, affiliated with the Federation of Interstellar Pirates.

So. How's the crew doing? And, of course, who's fucking?

EMMY I AM DRINKING A LOT OF WATER THESE DAYS SINCE I GAVE UP SODA LAST WEEK AND NOW I PLAY A GAME AT WORK. THE POINT OF THIS GAME IS TO PEE IN EVERY STALL OF THE BATHROOM. SO FAR IT IS 10:37 AND I AM AT 2/6.

I LIKE DRINKING FLAVORED CARBONATED WATER TOO. THEN YOU CAN PRETEND IT IS SODA OR SOMETHING ELSE. AND IT IS QUITE HEALTHY AS WELL. OR IF YOU DON'T MIND A FEW EXTRA CALORIES YOU COULD GET FLAVORING PACKETS. IT'S STILL HEALTHIER THAN SODA, BUT NOT QUITE AS HEALTHY AS PLAIN WATER.

THAT IS GOOD! I HAVE BEEN WALKING A LOT OUTSIDE SO I AM ACTUALLY EXERCISING NOW.

GOOD. THEY ARE GOOD. MY BROTHER'S CAR DIED LAST NIGHT THOUGH SO NOW I HAVE TO DRIVE HIM TO AND FROM WORK BUT HE HAS TO FILL MY GAS TANK (WHICH IS GOOD BECAUSE I WENT A LONG WAYS AWAY YESTERDAY) AND BE POLITE TO ME SO WE'LL SEE HOW THIS GOES.

I HATE CARBONATED WATER AND I DON'T KNOW WHY BECAUSE I LIKE SODA. I ONLY DRINK DIET, SO THE MAIN THING HURTING ME IS THE SODIUM.
