Also, would she rather work with Lucy or Saavik? The final decision about those two is mine, I'm just looking for input.

She doesn't care, but she would like to be wherever Jo is so that she can molest her in between all of the SERIOUSNESS.

That's the general idea (one team in the future, one in the past, and one split up.)

It'll probably be Saavik, David, and Jojo and Lucy, Demi, and Jo. I just have to decide who's going when.
