In the world you are entering, there is a Federation. There is an Enterprise. There is even a Captain Kirk.
But in this world, they are not as you know them.
George Lowther, 27, is the captain of the pirate ship known throughout the galaxy as the Enterprise. Of course, he's not the real George Lowther, and neither was the man before him, a fellow called Chris Pike. They're in the process of trading the identity, so Pike can retire, having made his fortune. The new Lowther, real name James T. Kirk, has hired on a crew, and they're off on their first voyage, affiliated with the Federation of Interstellar Pirates.
So. How's the crew doing? And, of course, who's fucking?

I have a very bad idea.

Yeah, because I don't know what to call us and I still have to tell you who she is.
And I can't lie it's a bit hot to be able to call someone that.

He's already jealous. Why do you think he made such a spectacle with my panties at dinner? But I could do a bit more to make his blood boil, I suppose.

You come in looking well fucked and he finds out it was me, first thing he's gonna do is bend you over and make you his again.

Not to me.
In fact, Rand is off for the rest of the afternoon, and I think I have a headache. Why don't you bring me up some willow back right now?

It's true enough but it feels a bit hokey. I have plenty of partners in crime you know? She's more than that.
Damn straight.

Wondered what happened to you.
I sincerely hope it doesn't take an hour to figure out how to administer some willow bark.

Had to soothe things over with Rand. She's a pain in the ass, but she likes ice cream and coloring books.
I want to know her better. You know, we'll be working very closely.

I was hoping, since it's so slow around here, that I could take my time and get to know him.
