In the world you are entering, there is a Federation. There is an Enterprise. There is even a Captain Kirk.
But in this world, they are not as you know them.
George Lowther, 27, is the captain of the pirate ship known throughout the galaxy as the Enterprise. Of course, he's not the real George Lowther, and neither was the man before him, a fellow called Chris Pike. They're in the process of trading the identity, so Pike can retire, having made his fortune. The new Lowther, real name James T. Kirk, has hired on a crew, and they're off on their first voyage, affiliated with the Federation of Interstellar Pirates.
So. How's the crew doing? And, of course, who's fucking?

What, did you think I was gonna say no? You're family, comes with the territory.
Well, I don't know if I'd go that far, you egomanic. You're gonna do well, I have faith in you.

I don't know what I thought. I've never. I don't know if I love you. I don't know if I can.
Thanks. I wish I had some idea what I was doing.

I'm not asking for anything in return, but I'm too old to lie about that shit anymore. You can love Jim, someone will bring it out of you someday or another. You'll see.
Welcome. You'll get there.

Don't be. It's not your fault. I'm sure once you've had your time with her she'll look better than new. Are you sure you still want to see me if I don't have strawberries?

Yeah, I know. I just. Frank. He fucked me up. Probably why I like older men, you know.
If you say so. I still hate him. George. Saint George.

Course! You're a clever lass and good at looking suitably impressed. It's highly gratifying.

It's not hard. You know what you're talking about. How could I be anything but impressed?

Yeah, well he's dead and gone and you're still here. You survived, and you'll find a way to bury that past in the long run.
I do say so. I just hope someday you don't have to anymore.

Did I ever thank you for killing him? Thanks for killing him.
It's hard to pretend this is my name. His name.

Brilliant. Next time there's booze in the loot or we end up somewhere neutral then.

You're more than welcome, bastard deserved it.
It was strange enough when I inherited it, can't imagine what it must be like for you. It'll get easier.

I think you should know, there's a spy on your ship. I'd say "be on the lookout for any suspicious behavior" but given the nature of your crew.. anyway, you have a spy to flush out. I'll give you more information as I get it.
Also I'm pregnant. Surprise!

Right. Good. I'll have to find something decent to wear. Can't take a pretty blond out in raggedy-arsed coveralls.

Yeah. I just wish I had been able to do it. But I know why.
Would he be proud of me?

Oh, you don't have to do that. I don't really have anything fancy. Everything I own is a variation of the same theme. You look just fine in those coveralls.

Eh, I think I can scrape together something less patched at the least. Ye look fine yourself in what you were wearing today.

I'd be a poor escort if I didn't make a bit of an effort, wouldn't I. Ye deserve a good time after those fucking wonderful strawberries if naught else.

Fuck. Fuck. Thank you, anything you can get me, even where we picked them up from, as soon as you can please. We'll try to track them down. Do you know who on your side planted him/her/it yet?
Wait, you are? Wow. This is good right? It feels like a good. I know we'd talked about the possibility later on and all, but I don't want to assume. Are you ok with this?

He would be proud of you. He would be very proud of you.
Also we have a problem, a big problem, a contact just sent me word that we have a spy onboard. We need to find them asap.
