New Game: SFA/HSAU: Finals!

It's time for something... light. Something... refreshing.

For the past year, Roger Korby and Andrea Sherrison have been building an android, Norm. And Norm has been, true to his name... normal.

But things are starting to go wrong. Andrea has been moved into the empty bed in Caz and Jan's room (oh, did I not mention that? WELL. It's there. Not a convenient plot device at all) and when Roger's rommmate dropped out, he and McCoy decided to move in together.

Now they're both starting to act weird. Of course, no one is normal, it's SFA and it's finals. But there's something seriously wrong, and our heroes are going to have to find out what.

Did I mention that the top four students in each class get to go on a special training exercise? Well, they do. And competition is hot.

Sorry. If I could have, I would have made that call for you; it's not fair you're the only one who has to shoulder that burden. Oh come on, like you weren't a total brat when you were a cadet.

I'm the CO. I take that hit. It's the way it is. I think, somehow, it would have been better if she were dead, not just comatose. That's horrible. But the coma thing, he kept saying "She's gonna wake up, right?" and I didn't know how to get through to him. I hope the doctor does a better job. Married for three weeks.

I was a brat when I was a cadet. I didn't whine about getting my evil robot back sooooooon.

Three weeks? Really? Fuck.

In their defense, I'm sure it wasn't evil until after the aliens messed with it.

I want my android back he is mine they have no right to take him this is pure droidist is what it is just because he's not a biological lifeform they think he's just a thing that they can possess and hold and experiment on be he isn't and they can't have him.

Also my head hurts a little but not a lot.

Where are you?

I'm sure he's fine. You made him strong.

No idea. A room.

Well, yeah, I mean, he's physically strong, but what do you think this is going to do to his psychology? He's at the developmental mindset of a six-year-old. Being taken over by tofu aliens (vtf is up with that anyway?) is bad enough, but being held by the GP for something that wasn't his fault is potentially scarring.

Yeah babe, that's helpful.

[identity profile] captlebubbles.livejournal.com 2010-05-04 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
And vtf has become a part of the Academy lingo!

Also, somewhere along the line, Norman went from being Roger's pet project to his obsession to his child.

Strong is strong, Roger. He'll get through it, and when we have him back, we'll help him through any problems they caused.

Well fine. Where are you?

He shouldn't have to go through this. I should have been more careful with him.

I am in a room that has a vending machine near it. :)

You couldn't have known, Roger. Don't blame yourself.

Yes, because that's so much more helpful. I'm coming to find you.

How were you supposed to anticipate this happening? You did the best you could, Roger.

I will. But I'm still in my hospital gown because they hid my clothes, so no promises on how far I'll get.

I should have done better.

The ones where your ass hangs out? Never mind, I'll find you. I don't want anyone else getting an eyeful of what's mine.

You couldn't have. Don't beat yourself up over it.

Aren't you? Anyways, you're too late. I can see the vending machines.

Yeah. She's only 20. At least there are no kids. Fleet orphans too many, yo know?

Probably not, but I didn't have to offer to let them help. They can atleast pretend to be grateful.

Roger started telling me that he got cold feet when he married Ryan and now I'm thinking about it and psyching myself out about marrying Mia. I mean, I know I want to. But how do I know she's not going to break my heart?

Don't get me wrong. Even if she did, it would still be worth it. But I'm scared all of a sudden. I've never been this scared.

Norman has the psychological development of a six-year-old. Keeping him detained like a common criminal could be potentially scarring on his psyche.

Well, Cadet, I offered to let you help us, and I'm sure that would expedite the process. But we can't let him go when he's a safety hazard. We need to make sure he can't brainwash you, or whatever, anymore. If you would like to turn him off, we can do that.

Fine, I'll help. I don't anyone else tinkering around in his head anyway. But there's no way he's going to be okay with this, and how am I supposed to help if I'm stuck in this hospital, anyway?

Sam, I will give you one (1) free internets if you have Dave call in help from Dr. Soong, since he's like, the leading android scientist in the universe.
