New Game: SFA/HSAU: Finals!

It's time for something... light. Something... refreshing.

For the past year, Roger Korby and Andrea Sherrison have been building an android, Norm. And Norm has been, true to his name... normal.

But things are starting to go wrong. Andrea has been moved into the empty bed in Caz and Jan's room (oh, did I not mention that? WELL. It's there. Not a convenient plot device at all) and when Roger's rommmate dropped out, he and McCoy decided to move in together.

Now they're both starting to act weird. Of course, no one is normal, it's SFA and it's finals. But there's something seriously wrong, and our heroes are going to have to find out what.

Did I mention that the top four students in each class get to go on a special training exercise? Well, they do. And competition is hot.

They only thing I remember form that class is our teacher telling us that a broken leg is a disease. Also your period. I AM NOT EVEN JOKING.

We had mandatory sex ed every year starting in 5th grade. It began as "Your body is changing, the nurse has pads." and moved to the always popular magnum opus video "What if I'm Gay? (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0339895/)"

By the time we got to senior year, it was "torture the History teacher" class, in which we were allowed to write our questions on note cards and he had to read them.

One person asked that he explain the use and application of a dental dam. One person asked where babies come from. I write a list of words I wanted him to say. We were not well behaved.

I honestly had no idea that it was weird that my mom made more than my dad until my mom told me one day that she was seeing a couple who were thinking about divorce because of that issue.

REALLY? They talked about homosexuality in your sex ed classes? I'm astounded. Sex ed for me was "Your body is changing, the nurse has pads, don't have sex you'll get pregnant and get a sexually transmitted disease, so even though you will have these urges you just have to find a way to deal."

I never heard the word masturbation in sex ed, and they literally said "you may experience urges, some call it getting hot." There was no talk of prevention, there was no talk of how sex was more than just "INSERT PENIS IN VAGINA NOW YOU'RE PREGNANT!"

You're so lucky. I was in charge of my own sexual education.

Yeah. I really wish I was joking. He was saying how a disease is just 'anything that disrupts your natural body functions' and it went downhill from there. When he said periods I almost smacked a bitch. Periods are a normal part of female puberty YOU ARE WRONG EVEN BY YOUR OWN WRONG DEFINITION.

We did have some horrendously outdated filmstrips starting in 4th or 5th that also where of the "Your body is changing, the nurse has pads." sort. but then my middleschool/highschool had like zero sex ed that wasn't you know, state mandated or whatever, so it was pretty bad.

We had a box freshman year with the class of horrendousness, we were not well behaved either. But there were no classes after freshman year. it was pitiful. and this was a private school that was the good alternative to the crap ones in my town. I seriously don't get how they fucked it up that badly.

Yeah, they don't to that everywhere? Wow. It never occurred to me that they wouldn't. We took it for granted.

We talked about masturbation, how to say no,. and ways of birth control, but it was stressed that the only contraception with 100% success was abstinance.

Yeah, my parents' talk was based on books, too. One for "general puberty/growth/sex" and one for when puberty actually hit.

Yeah, seriously. That's just upsetting. I remember one girl who's mother had passed away was talking to the teacher after class one day about how to ask her dad to buy her pads. Breaks my heart in retrospect.
