New Game: SFA/HSAU: Finals!

It's time for something... light. Something... refreshing.

For the past year, Roger Korby and Andrea Sherrison have been building an android, Norm. And Norm has been, true to his name... normal.

But things are starting to go wrong. Andrea has been moved into the empty bed in Caz and Jan's room (oh, did I not mention that? WELL. It's there. Not a convenient plot device at all) and when Roger's rommmate dropped out, he and McCoy decided to move in together.

Now they're both starting to act weird. Of course, no one is normal, it's SFA and it's finals. But there's something seriously wrong, and our heroes are going to have to find out what.

Did I mention that the top four students in each class get to go on a special training exercise? Well, they do. And competition is hot.

Ok! it'll just turn out to be the Matt from the last game and he can be all 'why don't you love me Dave? *wibble*' but everyone thinks its Matt with amnesia or something! Now, what else can I repeat? :D

The amnesia thing was a joke to begin with, but i do want him to ~reconnect~ with his friend at the academy, 'cause I've decided he needs a friend. Can that happen? Please?

But don't worry if you don't want to, Matt could always just make friends with an existing character, but after he wasn't invited to Dave's engagement party thing, I just realised he had no friends, which is a bit tragic.

Oh, I'm sorry, you took that as discouragement. I was just saying, I have a tendency to pick up characters completely at random, sometimes just because I'm bored with the ones I have or because no one is online that I talk to. So if someone else introduces a character that they actually need, I tend to be all "Okay, I'll do that! :D"

But if you wanted, you could have him reconnect to Kyle. I pretty much NEVER pick him up and I really need to develop him, since I've been playing him with 6's characterization and I keep feeling like I'm getting it wrong.

Could you...do both? The point of reintroducing this other person was because this whole debacle reminded him of dead bf and he'll want to contact living bf.

I know what you mean, I've been revisiting Matt's entire history on this comm so that i don't get him wrong from how Kink had him, and now things like he wears glasses!

I don't mind. Do you have a character in mind, or can I pick my own? Because I may have a few characters I've been wanting to introduce.

Okay. "Can you play two characters that are both good friends with one other?" Well. I guess if I must...

Well, the difference there is that you've been playing a character established in this game by someone else, whereas I've played Kyle for all of his parts in this game except for a few comms at the beginning. I've been using the characterization someone else gave him for another game, instead of making the character my own, which I suspect is why I don't pay him much attention. I had the same trouble with One, when I first picked her up I was playing with her as the fandom characterization and I was so uninterested that I nearly offered to give her up. Once I started developing her on my own she became a lot more fun, and I have even less canon to work with on Kyle.

Not really, my idea for their history is that they were both friends with now dead red shirt, drifted apart after they got into academy, but are still going to graduate in the same year, 'cause they're in the med track and Matt's accelerated Security track thanks to being a GP and going to EA. But anything can be changed or added, so use whoever you want!

XD It's such a hardship

I think it helps when you make them your own, though maybe not in my case because I've randomly decided Matt was the British under 11s croquet champion thanks to his grandma and gave it up when he realised it was embarrassing, and he tells no one. I just hope I don't destroy him completely.
